When Kenzie was 6 months old, we decided it was time to finally have family photos together. We thought that as she was older. She would be more alert, can hold herself up and we knew what would make her smile… or so we thought. We underestimated how she would react to the wind, the trees, the birds, the sound of cars and her surroundings in general. My bestie and Kenzie’s godfather, Brian, kindly took the photos for us.

Capturing moments is one of my 2018 resolutions. Every week we try to go some place new and with Australia’s incredibly harsh sun, heat and traffic, it’s proven difficult. We’re trying to make the most of this beautiful city while we’re still here. For now, I can’t wait to frame these beautiful photos in our forever home (whenever that would be).
